Cities of Covington, Crowley, Lake Charles and Thibodaux, Parishes of St. Landry, Natchitoches and Jefferson selected in first year of program

: Four honorees will receive this year’s Preserve America Presidential Awards from President George W. Bush and Mrs. Laura Bush, First Lady of the United States and Honorary Chair of Preserve America. This is the highest national award honoring historic preservation achievement.
