Natchitoches Welcomes Garden Wise Living TV Host

  NATCHITOCHES, LA- Arlena Schott, a television host for Garden Wise Living, will be in Natchitoches this Sunday to host a class on how to build a unique "fairy garden". The seminar is Sunday, January 20th at 1:30 p.m. at Natural Springs Garden Center in Natchitoches.  The class is $5 per person and the money will go to the Natchitoches Humane Society. Bloomin' on the Bricks & Art Along The Bricks in March

NATCHITOCHES- The Natchitoches Main Street Program is seeking vendors for 11th annual Bloomin' on the Bricks, scheduled for Saturday, March 23 in downtown Natchitoches on the river bank of Cane River Lake. The day-long event is a celebration of spring in downtown Natchitoches and will feature a vendor's area where merchants will sell and display items related to garden and lawn care such as plants, trees, patio furniture, outdoor décor and more. Bloomin' on the Bricks will also feature musical entertainment, food booths and a children's activity tent from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.  Other activities include a speaker's series and demonstrations on gardening-related topics. All vendors for Bloomin' on the Bricks will have products related to lawn care, gardening or landscaping. The Natchitoches Art Guild and Gallery will sponsor Art Along The Bricks, an outdoor art show on Front Street, the same day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Over 40 artists will display fine arts and crafts along Front Street along with face painting and demonstrations.  Both events are free and open to the pubic.
