Events will include guest speakers from law enforcement and fire protection and appearances by mascots such as Sparky the Fire Dog, Daren the Lion and Eddie Eagle. Additional events will include parades, performances, cook-outs and self-defense classes. All events will take place on Tuesday evening between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Events are free and open to the public.

The following neighborhoods and communities have registered to host National Night Out Events: East Natchitoches; Town South/Pan Am; Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive; Carters Mobile Home; Highland Recreation Park and Woodyard Subdivision; Village of Natchez; Melrose; Ashland; Cedar Grove; Bailey Heights; Council on Aging; Payne Subdivision; Cane Subdivision; St. Denis Heights; Town of Campti; Clarence; Powhatan; and Airport Road.
